Buccaneers Coach Raheem Morris Defends Aggressive Play Calling

Until Bucs players learn how to pull away from teams on the scoreboard, Raheem Morris plans to keep his foot on the accelerator for them. Morris said his failed fourth-quarter decisions to fake a punt and attempt a 51-yard field goal with the lead Sunday at Atlanta were "aggressive play" and a trait he wants to instill in his team.

Nothing wrong at all with his decisions. The Bucs are 1-10, go for it coach.

It's so aggravating watching a crappy team punt from the edge of FG range, unless of course somebody ever brings back the coffin corner.

agreed. in fact, i feel the less talented teams don't gamble ENOUGH. if you are outmatched by someone, playing aggressively can sometimes turn the tables.
