| Bill Cowher Insists He Hasn't Talked To Any NFL Teams | | | Former Steelers coach Bill Cowher said Thursday that he is not a candidate for any team's coaching position and does not expect to entertain offers until after the season. "I've spoken to no teams and I don't intend to do so while there is a current head coach," Cowher, now a CBS analyst, said on The NFL Today. Cowher has repeatedly said that he is not sure when or if he will return to coaching but ESPN and NFL.com reported last week that the Bills approached him to consider their coaching position, an offer he rebuffed. Cowher said it would be offensive to coaches currently with their teams if he entertained offers before the season ends. "Listen, this is a pivotal time of the year and these coaches deserve to have the full support of their organizations," he said. "So I'm telling you, I've talked to nobody."
