Chiefs Jamaal Charles Named AFC Special Teams Player Of The Week

The National Football League informed the Chiefs on Wednesday that RB Jamaal Charles has been named AFC Special Teams Player of the Week for his efforts in Week 11 of the 2009 NFL regular season. He becomes the first Chiefs player to be named AFC Special Teams Player of the Week since CB Maurice Leggett took home the honor in Week 13 of 2008. It is the first time Charles has received a conference player of the week award.
