Redskins TE Chris Cooley Says He's Likely Headed To IR

It was four weeks ago tomorrow that Washington Redskins tight end Chris Cooley underwent surgery to have three pins inserted into his right ankle. Making a radio appearance this morning in Washington on DC-101 on Elliot in the Morning, Cooley said that he is likely headed to the season-ending injured reserve list. Shutting down Cooley for the year probably make sense because there is no reason to risk further injury to him.
