Bears Lovie Smith Likes Play Of RB Matt Forte Despite Poor Play

Bears coach Lovie Smith said he liked the way Matt Forte "hit the holes" on Sunday, according to the Chicago Sun-Times, however, was what he did after he hit those holes - carry the ball 14 times for just 34 yards. Forte is averaging an abysmal 3.3 yards per carry this season, and were it not for his usual heavy involvement in the Bears' passing attack, he would barely even garner flex play consideration.
