Bills Also Interested In Marty Schottenheimer?

ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports that former Browns, Chiefs, Redskins, and Chargers coach Marty Schottenheimer could land on the list of candidates to coach the Buffalo Bills. Schottenheimer, who was fired by San Diego in February 2007 following a 14-2 regular season that ended in a first-round playoff loss to the Patriots, has said that he has no plans to coach again.

What's with these bottom feeders looking at retreads for coaches all the time. If I'm looking to rebuild a franchise, I'd look for younger, aggressive balls to the walls coaches, who aren't burnt out.

Schottenheimer has said many times that he has zero interest in coaching any longer and has moved on...having said that, everyone has a price, but this story is probably as false as they get...pure rumor...

True, but is there that few coaches out there capable of successfully coaching in the NFL, that a Schottenheimer even comes up in the news?

I agree with you...Schottenheimer's had his chance and I think he realizes it as well...
