[Saints] Saints QB Drew Brees' Mother's Death Ruled Suicide

The death of the mother of New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees has been ruled a suicide. Mina Brees, an attorney from Austin, Texas, died Aug. 7 while visiting Colorado. Grand County coroner Brenda Bock concluded this week that the 59-year-old Brees died of a prescription drug overdose and ruled the death a suicide.

I think they were estranged because he wouldn't let her act as his agent after he got drafted, sounds like this lady had some screws loose - the one I really feel for is Drew Brees.

From what I've read about her in previous tidbits she didn't sound like the greatest women. But still too bad to hear that she wasn't doing well and decided to take her life. Oh well, maybe she'll be reincarnated and come back as humpback camel.

Mental illiness and depression are definitely killers. Some people you don't even know are suffering from extreme depression, till after the deed is done. It's a shame because many people are taking the right meds, and living a good life.

holy crap. i hadn't even heard of this. it doesn't seem to have affected brees on the field this year.
