| Vikings Give CB Antoine Winfield The Green Light To Return | | |
Vikings CB Antoine Winfield gave himself an "85 percent" chance of playing Sunday against the Seahawks. Winfield injured his right foot Oct. 18 and sat out the past three games. He participated in much of Wednesday's and Thursday's practices and Winfield said if he's not ready for Sunday's game against Seattle, he's "100 percent" sure he'll play the following week against Chicago. Head coach Brad Childress said Winfield has been "green-lighted" to push as hard as he feels he can during practice. "His body will talk with him about what he can and can't do," Childress said. "It remains to be seen whether he can make it to Sunday or not. I know that's his goal."
