Rams defensive lineman C.J. Ah You has been lost for the remainder of the 2009 season due to a torn ACL in his left knee, Ah You sustained the injury in practice on Wednesday and he’ll have surgery at a future date. Ah You, who spent the final six weeks of the 2007 season and the entire 2008 season on the Rams’ practice squad, had earned more and more playing as the season progressed and he had 18 tackles and a sack this season. “When he first got here, he didn’t surface right away, and then he really earned himself a spot initially in training camp and continued to earn playing time,’’ Spagnuolo said. “He was really kind of a key guy in there in nickel situations when we have four defensive ends out there.’’ Ah You’s loss was another blow for the Rams’ battered and bruised defensive line.
