Cowboys [Cowboys] Terry Bradshaw Rips Into Cowboys WR Roy Williams

Hall of Fame quarterback Terry Bradshaw fired away at Dallas Cowboys' wide receiver Roy Williams for his performance in Sunday's loss. "Dallas lost that game when Roy Williams dropped that pass and then fumbled, too,'' said Bradshaw, a co-host of FOX's NFL Sunday show. "He may have finished with 100 yards receiving, but he's certainly not worth two first-round picks and all that money Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is paying him. He's not proving anything.''

I agree with Terry on some of what he said, Williams play was a major reason Dallas lost. Just to keep the record straight it was Joey Galloway that they traded two first round picks for not Williams. I wonder it JJ will ever trade for a WR again?

The Cowboys gave up a first-round pick in 2009, plus a third- and sixth-rounder that year for Williams and a seventh-round pick in '10.

Still a fuck-ton of picks for a guy who hasn't even come close to being worth it.

Okay.. they're laughing, what did they get with those picks?? A pretty good tight end at the moment, Pettigrew.. A WR, Derrick Williams from Penn State, and a RB Aaron Brown. A Combined total of 28 catches, 309 yards, 19 carries, 83 yards. Sure they are all rookies, and need time to develop.. but all in all, right now.. why are they laughing?? they have nothing to laugh about. So what he's not a Terrell Owens like every other Dallas fan thought, he goes out and plays hard every play.. (look at the hit he took in the denver game, instead of not trying and letting the ball be picked off.) He Blocks, and the only negative you hear from him, is just the media trying to make him to have T.O's personality. He hasn't had to step up and be a super star, he's just had to catch the ball when its thrown his way, and he's did his best.. laugh all you want.. he didn't make his expectations as high as what everyone else did, he just wants to win, which is all the fans care about.

It's not so much about who Detroit got with those picks, but more about who Dallas didn't get with the picks. A 1st and a 3rd round pick alone that are lost is huge, and Williams isn't even living up to 3rd round pick potential. And playing hard is great, but only goes so far when dropping passes and fumbling, thus far the trade looks terrible, and I also think Pettigrew will be a beast of a TE for years to come, and was a very solid pick by Detroit.
