Baltimore Ravens defensive end Dwan Edwards was fined $5,000 by the league office for his hit on Cleveland Browns wide receiver Joshua Cribbs during the final play of the Ravens' 16-0 win Monday night, a league source confirmed. Cribbs told reporters today in Cleveland that he didn't consider it to a cheap shot. "I didn't feel that way at the time because of the pain," Cribbs said. "A lot of the Ravens' guys reached out to me and let me know that it wasn't on purpose. It wasn't intended. It happened all so quick. He thought I was going to try to come and block him. I thought I pitched the ball. They assured me that they didn't mean anything by it. A lot of guys talked to them as well. It was no revenge, nothing like that." Earlier in the game, Ravens outside linebacker Terrell Suggs injured his knee on an illegal block by quarterback Brady Quinn, who has been fined significantly.
