| Josh Scobee kicked a 21-yard field goal as time expired to lift the Jacksonville Jaguars to a 24-22 victory over the New York Jets at the Meadowlands. David Garrard threw for 221 yards with a touchdown and ran for a score for the Jaguars (5-4), who have won two straight and three of their last four. The Jets moved in front by one with 5:04 to play on a one-yard touchdown run by Thomas Jones, but the two-point conversion attempt failed before the Jaguars followed with the game-winning drive and New York, coming off its bye, are now 1-5 after starting the season with three consecutive wins and the lone victory in that span came against lowly Oakland.
