[49ers] 49ers LB Takeo Spikes Injures His Hamstring Vs Bears

49ers linebacker Takeo Spikes left tonight's game against the Chicago Bears in the second quarter with a strained hamstring and was not expected to return. Spikes has been dealing with injuries all year long, most recently suffering a shoulder injury against the Texans that has limited him at practice. There is no word on the severity of the injury.

Fill ins often play well, but there is usually a reason they are fill ins. Spikes is a player I am damn glad to have on the team.
