Cardinals QB Matt Leinart Remains Confident Despite Errant Throw

Cardinals quarterback Matt Leinart said his psyche is in fine shape despite having his only pass intercepted last Sunday in Chicago. Leinart entered the game in the fourth quarter and left the game after the Bears scored following the interception. On Monday, coach Ken Whisenhunt said he hoped the game didn't damage Leinart's psyche. "It looks a lot worse than it is because it's one throw, and then I don't get to come back in and redeem myself," Leinart said. "Then I kind of dwell on it and think I missed an opportunity, which I don't get very often. In no way have I lost confidence in my ability. I've done so much to get to this point to be prepared. It was a bad throw and that happens."

I just think it's hilarious that they pulled Warner thinking they won. Chicago scores, Leinart throws a pick, Chicago scores again. Back comes Warner....has to be like getting kicked in the balls for Leinart. Can't even manage mop up duty.

This is the second time they pulled Warner too soon and the game tightened up. Whisenhunt and the FOX network decided that game was over well before it really was.
