NFC [NFL] Buccaneers Upset Packers 38-28 For Their First Win

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers notched their first win of the 2009 regular season by defeating the Green Bay Packers in their throwback game Sunday, 38-28. Bucs rookie quarterback Josh Freeman completed touchdown passes to running back Derrick Ward, tight end Kellen Winslow and wide receiver Sammie Stroughter in his first start in the NFL, which took place at Raymond James Stadium. Tampa Bay's defense came alive in the second half, notching five sacks, including two by defensive end Styles G. White while also intercepting Packers QB Aaron Rodgers three times, including safety Tanard Jackson's 39-yard INT return for a touhdown with less than one minute remaining in the game.
