Indianapolis Colts safety Bob Sanders will require surgery to address an injury to his left elbow and miss an undetermined amount of time. Also, starting cornerback Kelvin Hayden is expected to miss up to four weeks with a knee injury. Coach Jim Caldwell confirmed the team will be without two of its starting defensive players, perhaps for at least a month, this morning.
