After playing in 54 consecutive games dating back to the 2006 season, Panthers WR Muhsin Muhammad sat out with an injury in Week Eight, later revealing that he had a sprained medial collateral ligament and didn't expect to play on Sunday vs. the Saints. Even before the injury, however, it was clear that Muhammad's performance was in serious decline. Sources say the Panthers will not be interested in bringing Muhammad back after his contract expires this offseason, and the 36-year-old might consider retirement.
