[Saints] Saints Won't Rush DT Sedrick Ellis Back On The Field

Sources in New Orleans say DT Sedrick Ellis might need only 3-4 weeks off while recovering from the sprained right MCL he sustained in Week Seven, rather than what was suggested by initial reports, which gave him a timetable of 4-6 weeks. However, the team has no incentive to have him hurry back. In fact, Pro Football Weekly hears that he could get some extra time off just to make certain he's as comfortable as possible for the final stages of the season.
