Giants DE Justin Tuck Sheds Light On Defensive Problems

Giants defensive end Justin Tuck was blunt Monday when he expanded on comments made Sunday by middle linebacker Antonio Pierce about how the defense had a communication problem during a 40-17 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. Pierce refused to elaborate, but Tuck said he knew it was true “when a guy scores a touchdown and guys are looking at each other like ‘I thought this’ and ‘I thought that.’ ” This seemed to suggest, in part, the positioning of the defensive backs, who did not always seem sure of whom to cover as Donovan McNabb threw three touchdown passes

um, sorry guys, but your excuses about Sunday don't hold any water because you've looked the same way against anyone with an average or better than average offense all season. this was not a 1 game fluke.

The problem is Sheridan, Spags was the MVP of our defense!

Oh now you just went and pissed me off Tuck. Are you seriously pointing fingers at the defensive backs?!? First of all the secondary has been banged up all year with Ross and Phillips out. And what about that ass whooping in New Orleans two weeks ago? If I recall Drew Brees barely had to shuffle his feet in the pocket the ENTIRE GAME - where the fuck were you and Osi during that abomination? I suggest you just keep your mouth shut and worry about doing your own job.
