Vikings QB Brett Favre has been named NFC Offensive Player of the Week for his 4-TD afternoon at Green Bay on Sunday. The game marked Favre’s 21st career 4-TD game, matching Dan Marino for the NFL record. His 128.6 passer rating against the Packers is the 5th game in 2009 he has posted a 100+ passer rating.

No idea olly. Sage seems to be an average QB so he might be serviceable in a Brad Johnson sort of way, and jackson scares the shit out of me. My guess is we'll draft someone early next year, and try to convince Favre to play one more year. I know it won't be pretty, but I'll worry about that when the season is over and just enjoy the ride for now. I have a feeling the coaching staff is saying the same thing.

If he didn't get his ring this time, he prolly will come back to play another season of football. The question is, who will he play for.....

He didn't need to play from behind, that's a big advantage for him

His time will come....

He had to play from behind in the 49's and Ravens games. But for the most part you're right, he's been able to play with a lead.

The big thing has been the protection the o-line has given him. The first 3 games were rough, but the line seems to have gelled a bit more. The new additions of Sullivan and Loadholt have done a pretty good job in the past month.

The season is only half over, so I'm sure we'll see some more ups and downs. It's still gone much better than I had thought it would.
