The Cleveland Plain Dealer is reporting that the Browns will likely give Brady Quinn another shot at the starting job before the end of the season. The team would like to avoid paying Quinn his bonus if he plays 70 percent of the snaps this season, but they do plan to let him play again this season. It seems highly unlikely that both Quinn and Derek Anderson will be back next season, so both are likely auditioning for a job in 2010.
What a piss poor way to run a team. Anderson is obviously faltering, why not go to Quinn? You signed a contract and to not legitimately give your team a chance over a bonus is ludicrous. I'm not saying Quinn is the answer, but to not see if he is even a marginal upgrade over DA is a level of stupidity that shows why they have turned into Raiders East.
