Ravens LB Tavares Gooden Could Be Inactive Vs Broncos

Despite being listed as probable, the Baltimore Ravens are learning toward holding starting LB Tarvares Gooden (concussion) out for today's game against the Denver Broncos after he suffered a concussion during Wednesday's practice, a league source told Scout.com. Gooden missed a game earlier this season against the New England Patriots because of a concussion he suffered the previous week. Should Gooden wind up being one of Baltimore's eight inactives today, rookie ILB Dannell Ellerbe would likely start for him.

I'm liking what I'm seeing out of Ellerbe and McClain. Gooden looks like he's too small and the weak link of our front seven.
