Vikings QB Brett Favre To Play Despite Hip Injury

Brett Favre was limited in practice for the third straight day Friday, according to the Vikings' official website. He is nursing a hip ailment. The gritty field general is expected to play in Sunday's game at Green Bay and it will mark his first trip to Lambeau since leaving the Packers.

This isnt even news. He could lose an arm and still play, as long as he still has his throwing arm..Hes NOT gonna miss this "homecoming"

While I would be all for that injury getting worse as the game goes on, the whole reason Favre chose the Vikings is for this one game. He'll take every snap tomorrow even if he can't walk anymore. I expect a war tomorrow in Lambeau and I'll be sporting some cheese on my head once the Eagles/Giants game concludes.

I remember a thread where the mayor of GB was looking for ideas for an 'amusing' way to welcome back Favre.

What ever became of that story?

I think they decided to make the giant waffle - oh and I think SoDev said they should give away Duracell batteries, that was funny.
