Dolphins LB Channing Crowder Misses Third Straight Practice

The possibility that inside linebacker Channing Crowder will miss Sunday’s game against the New York Jets grew Friday when Crowder sat out his third straight practice with a shoulder injury. Crowder went through the stretching portion of the workout with his teammates, then did some side work with a trainer designed to strengthen his shoulder. Crowder has missed six games in his four-year career, including one last season against Kansas City.
