The Cowboys announced Friday that Daughtry will be the halftime performer for the Thanksgiving Day game against Oakland. The game also serves as the kickoff event for The Salvation Army's Christmas drive, say what you want about Jerry Jones, but you've got to give him credit for the work he's done promoting The Salvation Army. Daughtry is the third American Idol performer to perform at halftime of the Thanksgiving Day game. Carrie Underwood and Kelly Clarkson were the others.
