Tony Romo Feels Cowboys Offense Could Join NFL's Elite

Cowboys QB Tony Romo said he likes what he is seeing from the offense and believes it can become one of the elite offenses in the league. "We feel very confident we can do things that allow us to be a special unit or take that next step and be really elite. The only thing that really holds us back sometimes, we feel like, are the things we do ourselves. If we can take care of those, we feel we can do something special," Romo said. The Cowboys offense is averaging 419.3 yards per game, which ranks second in the league.

Would be averaging more then that without all the set backs we have with false starts, and holding calls. I didnt realize we were 2nd in the league though, that's amazing.

What's really amazing is what the presence of Miles Austin has meant to the Cowboys. Three weeks ago there wasn't much talk of elite status by Romo or any other Cowboy.
