Panthers Have QB Jake Delhomme On Short Leash

QB Jake Delhomme will be on a short leash Sunday. Even though Jake Delhomme remains the Panthers' starter, expect coach John Fox to have a quick hook if Delhomme throws an interception or loses a fumble. Over his past seven games, including last season's playoff loss to the Arizona Cardinals, Delhomme has been responsible for 21 turnovers.

I think the Panthers are trying to give the Niners a top 5 pick so they can get Okung.

Okung is the top LT prospect coming into the 2010 draft.

the panthers giving delhomme a huge contract in the off-season was one of the biggest contract errors in recent history. they're now going to play him for a lot longer than they should to justify their actions.
