Panthers QB Jake Delhomme To Start Week 8

Carolina Panthers' beat writer Darin Gantt is reporting on Twitter that coach John Fox has named Jake Delhomme the team's starting quarterback for Week 8. There was some speculation that Delhomme would be benched this week due to his poor play this season. Delhomme has been awful this season, but the Panthers don't really have a great option to take over for him. Matt Moore and AJ Feeley are both average quarterbacks who aren't likely to change the team's fortunes.

Well looks like the Panthers are going to be 2-5.

4 Interceptions, high or low? DB's chopping at the bit for this game. Chance to look like All Pro.

Last year's playoff loss to the Cards began his death spiral. Including that game, 18 Int's in 7 games. I'd say if he doesn't beat the team that started his demise, Jake's toast.

#1 run D in the league will probably force them to throw to win - I'd start the ARZ defense in any of your fantasy leagues.

Delhomme will throw it right to him so he won't have to work so hard.

Matt Moore is obviously only on the roster to make up numbers! I'm not saying that Moore is nearly as good as Tom Brady, but nobody knew that Tom would be as good as he is when he first started. Give the guy a go, he can't do any worse than Jake!!!
