Texans Work Out QB John David Booty, Seven Other Players

Mike Florio (ProFootballTalk) reports former Minnesota Vikings’ quarterback John David Booty worked out for the Houston Texans on Tuesday. Florio reports the Texans also brought in quarterback Bobby Reid, along with receiver’s Dallas Baker, Patrick Carter, Willie Reid, and Chris David and tight end’s Carson Butler and Dezmond Sherrod. The rumors of Booty hanging around and reports of his stuff still in the Vikings’ locker room are likely dying down.

Dallas Baker and Willie Reid were both Steelers receivers the last few years, they spent most of their time on the practice squad. Reid seen a little bit of return duties for us, they will probably just be on your practice squad. Dallas Baker was a beast in the redzone at Florida, earning him the nick name Dallas Baker "The Touchdown Maker" he hasn't made shit in the nfl.

That's kinda strange since the Texans have better QB depth than most teams.
