News Journal reporter Geoff Mosher spoke privately to a number of players in the Eagles’ locker room before practice today and he reports it’s safe to say they’re still disappointed by the playcalling from the 13-9 loss to Oakland. Mosher assured those who spoke to him that he wouldn’t print their names, but it’s clear they’re miffed that Reid and Marty Mornhinweg gave up on the run. They had a perfect opportunity to pound the ball against an inferior opponent but instead tried to force-feed the pass, a mistake this coaching staff - for some unexplained reason - makes every year throughout the course of the season.
It must totally be frustrating to be an Eagles player. Reid can sometimes draw up great game plans and then make some of the worst decisions ever the next week. He can't keep pulling the shit he did last week or he's going to lose the locker room. He's awful at in-game management.
