Packers Sign RB Ahman Green, Put RB DeShawn Wynn On IR

To help an offensive backfield ravaged with injuries, the Green Bay Packers dipped into their past on Wednesday, signing running back Ahman Green. Green, who has been out of the league since Feb. 10 when the Texans released him, replaces DeShawn Wynn, whose season is over after being placed on injured reserve with a knee injury. With 8,162 career rushing yards with the Packers, Green needs 46 more yards to surpass No. 1 Jim Taylor (8,207) and become the franchise’s all-time leading rusher.

Dont. One hit and his knee will fail. He needs 47 yds to break the career rushing yd record in GB. I have a feeling this is somewhat of a last hurrah, so he can retire as a packer.

He's got nothing left. Maybe he'll give it one last shot because it's in Green Bay...lol...

i'm not surprised, its the same blocking scheme that was in houston, no one has seen him play for a while the guy might have a game or two left in the tank. what i want to know is where is brandon jackson? and why did we keep wynn over sutton?
