Chargers Sign CB Dante Hughes, Place LB Antwan Applewhite On IR

The San Diego Chargers signed cornerback Dante Hughes today and placed linebacker Antwan Applewhite on injured reserve. Hughes is a former third-round draft pick of the Indianapolis Colts in the 2007 NFL draft. Hughes was cut by the Colts earlier this season.
