Christopher Price of WEEI reports that a source tells him receiver Joey Galloway is on his way to Kansas City for a workout with the Chiefs. Galloway was released today by the New England Patriots, who are causing the rumor mill to churn by releasing three other players including Tully Banta-Cain (Update: Pats re-signed Banta-Cain), Eric Alexander and Michael Matthews. Galloway signed a one year deal with the Patriots but has been inactive the last three games and since Galloway was released before 3:00 PM CST today, he is not subject to waivers which means he can now choose his own team.
