While at City Hall to help announce a plan to raise awareness to the fight against diabetes, Cowboys tight end Martellus Bennett gave quarterback Tony Romo a verbal shot of insulin Tuesday. The small crowd listened to 8-year-old Kendall Tubbs talk about her daily battle with diabetes, then she got set to throw a football toward Bennett and former Heisman Trophy winner Tim Brown as they posed for photos. "I hope she's not Tony Romo 'cause I won't get the ball," said Bennett, who has only four receptions in five games. After the crowd's nervous laugh, Kendall tossed a ball to Bennett, saying, "I found you."
if martellus WAS trying to take a stab at romo, it's only because he believed the hype everyone was giving him about him being a big part of the offense
