Raiders coach Tom Cable was given an opportunity Wednesday to shut the door on the possibility of re-signing veteran quarterback Jeff Garcia. Instead, Cable left open the possibility. “We haven’t talked about it at this point,” Cable said. “That’s all I can say right now.” As we opined Tuesday during our Live Chat session, it’s likely that the Raiders will let Garcia explore his other options before approaching him about the prospect of returning to the team that released him Sept. 5.
