Kevin Kolb turned to LeSean McCoy before pregame introductions and tried to offer the rookie some advice. "Kevin looked at me and said, 'It's my first time getting called out, too,"' McCoy said. McCoy, a rookie second-round pick out of Pitt, started his first game in place of ailing running back Brian Westbrook. He ran for 84 yards and one TD on 20 carries. "We are always ready to play," McCoy said. "Rookies or not, we have that attitude, we want to compete."

the eagles have so much young talent at key positions on both offense and defense. they draft well and coach their system well. they just seem to plug players in and keep rolling.
