Patriots Release LB Prescott Burgess, Sign DT Terdell Sands

The Patriots have signed defensive tackle Terdell Sands to give them some depth there and released linebacker Prescott Burgess to make room. When he was signed, Burgess said he would happily give the Patriots all the info they wanted on the Ravens. “I can give them all the insight they want whenever they come to me,” he said.
