Dolphins QB Chad Pennington Expected To Miss Season

Miami Dolphins quarterback Chad Pennington has a torn capsule in his throwing shoulder and is awaiting a second opinion, ESPN's Chris Mortenson reports via Twitter. Pennington is expected to miss the rest of the season, as we told you earlier today, Pennington's shoulder was dislocated on Sunday. The injury happened when San Diego Chargers linebacker Kevin Burnett hit Pennington underneath the shoulder as he was trying to throw a pass, Pennington will seek a second opinion from orthopedic specialist Dr. James Andrews, who has performed two shoulder surgeries on the quarterback.

Sadly enough he was my back up QB in one of my leagues.

Is it gonna be Chad Henne or Pat White?

I hope Pennington stays on as a coach. He seems to be a great teacher of the position.

this may be the best thing that could have happened to miami Henne is going to be a really good pro he was a steal in the draft he fell becuase of a injury and the lackluster play the team had his last season not becuase of his talent
