ESPN.com's NFL Insider Adam Schefter reports on his Twitter account that the New Orleans Saints have officially signed QB Chase Daniel to the active roster. To make room for him on the roster the team will release C Nick Leckey. Leckey signed a one-year contract with the New Orleans Saints as an unrestricted free agent on March 17, 2009.

leckey will probably be re-signed monday and daniel sent back to the PS
