Buccaneers FS Jermaine Phillips Out 6-8 Weeks With A Broken Thumb

Tampa Bay Buccaneers safety Jermaine Phillips has a broken left thumb. He is expected to be out between 6-8 weeks and is a candidate to be placed on Injured Reserve. Phillips was injured during the second half of Sunday's 33-20 loss to the Buffalo Bills.
