Redskins quarterback Jason Campbell sprained his left ankle in the second quarter of Washington's 9-7 win over the St. Louis Rams on Sunday, Redskins head coach Jim Zorn said. Campbell played through the injury - his ankle was taped up over his cleat - and completed 23 of 35 passes for 242 yards. Campbell also rushed for 28 yards. "I kept trying to fight through it," Campbell said. You "try not to pay attention to it."

he want a cookie? or a small parade? it's the rams you're playing, you're banking all your money on campbell for the whole season, why risk him even messing his ankle up worse against the rams? especially when your backup QB's are the ones who come in at midseason during the only seasons you make the playoffs.
