Although it seemed to make sense for the Bears to pursue another running back following Kevin Jones' season-ending ankle injury, Bears general manager Jerry Angelo said the team is in no rush to make a move. The Bears are content with the combination of Garrett Wolfe and Adrian Peterson behind Matt Forte. Angelo said he envision a more expanded role for Wolfe, which would point to the former Northern Illinois star being the primary backup. "It's not like we're one short," Angelo said in an interview on the team's Web site. "If we need to go out and pick up another back, we have a short list where we can do that. But right now, nobody we would pick up would dress on Sunday. So we're going to go with the hand that we have and we're comfortable with, and then we'll just go from there.''
The drop off from Forte to Wolfe & AP is just too much to expect to live with this for long tho.
Do you think as the season goes along they will make a trade or do you think there will be someone available as a Free Agent that is a better option then the back-ups they have now?
