Steelers inside linebacker Lawrence Timmons has finally accepted that he'll miss the season opener against the Tennessee Titans because of a high ankle sprain. "Yeah, it's tough. To work so hard in two-a-days and preseason, but that's life," said Timmons. Big things are expected from Timmons, a first-round draft pick in 2007. The player he's replacing, Larry Foote, made 80 consecutive regular-season starts covering five seasons with the Steelers. "I'll take positives out of it and be the best I can be when I get back," said Timmons, who's no longer wearing a protective boot on his left foot. "I can move around. I don't want to mess it up. It's a very sensitive injury. It takes time."
