Still No Word From NFL On Lions DT Grady Jackson

The Detroit Lions have a backup plan in place, but they're moving ahead with the idea that veteran defensive tackle Grady Jackson will be available for Sunday's game against the New Orleans Saints. Jackson appealed a four-game suspension he received last year as a member of the Atlanta Falcons and the league has yet to resolve the issue. NFL spokesman Greg Aiello would only say that Jackson has not been suspended and that the situation is still under review.
