Steelers LB Lawrence Timmons Still Not At Practice

The good news for the Steelers: Lawrence Timmons has shed the boot he had on his left foot last week. The bad news: Timmons isn't practicing today, which doesn't help his chances of playing Thursday in the Steelers' regular-season opener against the Tennessee Titans. Timmons has not practiced since spraining his left ankle in a preseason game on Aug. 29 but he is holding out hope they he will be able to play in Thursday's 8:30 p.m. game at Heinz Field. "Rehab's going great," Timmons said. "I've just been working hard, doing everything they say to get myself right."

It's up to your boy Fox now HH. He will be able to fill that void for week 1 since Tennessee runs the ball so effectively. Timmons is projected as being one of the breakout players in the league this season and already injured for week 1

. This sucks.
