Colts Players Miss Veteran WR Marvin Harrison

The reminders are there virtually every day as the Indianapolis Colts move on without one of the most productive and decorated players in franchise history. When quarterback Peyton Manning takes a snap in practice and begins his right-to-left passing progression, Marvin Harrison is missing. The one constant I've always known in my career is that No. 88 was going to be out there on the right," Manning said. When Reggie Wayne lines up split wide left, Harrison isn't poised -- arms dangling at his side, eyes searching out Manning for one of their uncanny pre-snap adjustments -- on the other side of the field. "It's going to be strange," Wayne said. "It's a day as an owner that you know eventually will come," Jim Irsay said, "but it's not a day that you look forward to."

They shouldn't have let him go imo. Maybe he wasn't willing to go behind Gonzalez on the depth chart. Still, I think he helps that team more than he hurts it.
