Rams Place DT Adam Carriker On Injured Reserve

The Rams announced today that defensive tackle Adam Carriker has been placed on injured reserve. Carriker suffered what the team called a "significant shoulder injury" in the team's final preseason game against the Chiefs. Carriker, a first-round draft pick (13th overall) in 2007, has started 25 games over his first two years in the league, and the Rams were counting on him to play a key role this season.
