Saints Release QB Joey Harrington

NFL Network’s Jason La Canfora reports the Saints have cut former first-round pick QB Joey Harrington, according to a league source. Harrington had been with with veteran Mark Brunell for a backup spot with the Saints. Harrington has thrown for 14,639 yards in his career with 79 touchdowns and 85 interceptions.
