Browns DE Melila Purcell Received Injury Settlement

The Cleveland Browns have brokered an injury settlement with defensive end Melila Purcell, according to a league source. Purcell was removed from the reserve-injured list and is now a free agent. He was drafted in the sixth round of the 2007 NFL draft out of Hawaii, a cousin of Oakland Raiders center Samson Satele, Purcell spent his rookie season on the Browns' practice squad
