| The Chargers have traded a conditional sixth-round draft pick for Houston Texans defensive tackle Travis Johnson. Johnson (6-3, 303) played an end in the 3-4 as a rookie and will be an end in the base defense for the Chargers and can move to nose in the nickel package. The Chargers have been plagued with injuries on the defensive line and have several young players. "He's an experienced player, and that helps us a lot," Norv Turner said. "He does both (end and tackle) at a real high level." Source: San Diego Union-Tribune |
